Call for abstracts

The abstract submission system was opened on 1 January 2025*.
The last day to submit your abstract to be considered for oral presentation is 28 February 2025*.
We plan to inform you about the results of the evaluation by the end of March 2025*.
In April 2025 we will open the call for abstracts again, however abstracts submitted in the second round will be considered only for poster presentation. The last day to submit your abstract to be considered for poster presentation is 16 June 2025*.

Abstracts submitted after 16 June 2025 will not be evaluated.

*Kindly note that the deadlines are defined with respect to Warsaw local time. Click here to check the local time and date in Warsaw.

• Author(s) information
• Indicate the presenting author
• Preference regarding type of the presentations (applies only to the first round of the call for abstracts)
• Selected topics that matches research described in your submission
• One A4 page submission for review and for publication on the conference webpage, prepared as a PDF that includes:
  • Title
  • Authors and their affiliations
  • Contact email
  • Supplemental information:
    • Description of purpose
    • Method(s)
    • Results
    • New or breakthrough work to be presented
    • Conclusions
    • Supporting images/tables/figures

• Prepare your submission following the guidelines stated in the previous section
• You may submit more than one abstract, but submit each abstract only once. 
• Submit your abstract using the abstract submission form – click here to open it
• If you want to update the abstract or correct it – please DO NOT upload it again. Please contact organisers by sending email to oecs2025@candela.org.pl
• Please note, that one person can present only one poster and/one oral presentation during the conference.
