Prof. Michał Matuszewski obtained his PhD in theoretical physics in 2007 from the University of Warsaw. He then completed a three-year postdoctoral fellowship at the Australian National University. In 2010, he returned to Warsaw and founded a research group devoted to the theory of exciton-polaritons at the Institute of Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences. He received a number of awards, including awards for the best young scientists of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the Polish Academy of Sciences. He is currently employed as a Professor at the Center of Theoretical Physics, Polish Academy of Sciences.
